Christmas Fun

I can feel the Christmas air already. Our Christmas tree is up too and I'm trying to finish my Christmas shopping. I hope by next week, my gifts are already wrapped and under the tree already. I may not buy all the wishes that my relatives wish to have like the electric guitar and the bose l1 model 2 that my nephew is dreaming to have but simple gifts are also meaningful especially when you give it wholeheartedly.

There are numerous Christmas sales all around many stores and that causes some traffic because shoppers are flocking since Christmas bonus and 13th month pay are already given to those who ae working in companies.

I know that Christmas will be fun as there will be lots of reunions and gift giving apart from knowing that our savior Jesus Christ is born.

Christmas Shopping

Oh wow, as of this writing , it's only 29 days to go and it's Christmas once again. Sure time flies so fast, isn't it?

Actually, I already started my Christmas shopping after my birthday, which is mid-November and I had fun. Shopping is always fun you know especially when you get to buy some things for yourself and for your loved ones. I have some gifts that I have bought already and it's always a help when malls are having a sale.

I managed to cross-out some people on my list already but I got some bunch more to get gifts. Making a list before shopping is always a wise thing to do you know so you'll not go overboard. It's also the time of the year when no one should get sick especially the kids for it's really their time to received gifts and go to so many places to enjoy with their family. It's good to know that we can get boiron products here that caters to children and adult medicines for simple coughs and colds and more.

I need to get on my shopping mode again this weekend for I really want to avoid Christmas shopping rush. I'll be getting Christmas tree and other stuff on our storage room on the weekend and hopefully will have our small tree up on the 1st week of December. The fun part also is wrapping all the gifts!

Designing Happily

Lately, I found myself so inspired to make more cliparts, digital papers, scrapbooking kits, templates and more. Christmas is coming and people will be in their buying mode again to buy gifts and even other stuff to make some arts and craft so I'm filling my ETSY STORE : JennyLDesignsShop because I just opened last June 7th. Everyday, I need to finish 1 or 2 paper packs but I also make it a point to rest and not to designing as I will get burned out too.

While designing, I find it more helpful for me to listen to music as it helps me to get more inspired. I know that there are also other designers or artists who love to listen to their fave band with great player or solo singers. Music can help us think well, relax and motivated to do different tasks.

I have added 2 paper packs today at my shop and I still have a long list of themed paper packs to make this year. I'm designing happily and hoping for more creative juice and inspiration to come.

Feeling so Creative

Lately, I have been so inspired to make a lot of digital paper backgrounds, digital kits, cliparts and more. Since blogging has come to a low phase, I found myself creating a lot of stuff already. In fact, I have opened my ETSY STORE- JennyLDesignsShop just last June 4 and I'm very happy that I have some sales already. It's making more inspired to make some stuff and I know in the future I will  get my own followers and constant customers as long as I make good quality papers.

I have been designing using 300dpi setting on all of my papers and cliparts so that it will be crisp clear when printed at the shops and even at home using deskstop printers. Every day, I see to it that I can make at least 1 paper set so that I can have more products in my store. I know the sale will pick up before Christmas because a  lot of people will be making some crafty stuff for sale or as gifts for their loved ones.

Speaking of being creative, while I am enjoying my time working on my digital stuff, my brother on the other hand is getting handyman. He has fixed our old cabinets that has worn out over time. I heard that he plans on making new cabinets so he needs some supplies like new wood and 1/2 inch overlay cabinet hinges and other stuff. I'm just hoping that he will finish his projects asap.
