Excited for the National Scrapbooking Day (NSD) on May 1, 2010

Yay, I'm excited over at National Scrapbooking Day (NSD) on May 1, 2010 and right now I'm making rounds on different digital scrapbooking stores online to see what they will have this weekend. I'm sure there'll be lots of digi sales and knowing myself I know I will grab some kits once again.

I particularly love SSD Sweet Shoppe Designs' designers and that is what I'm waiting for. I was browsing for some Sea Gull lighting when I remember the NSD. I can't wait to shop for some goodies so I can start new layouts soon.

Digital Scrapping Photobook and more as Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's Day is coming once again and do you already have something to give for your mom? A kiss, hug and love will do but giving something even if it is not expensive will make it more precious.

There are many mother's day gift ideas this year that you can opt to choose. A spa coupon, a designer bag, scented candles and more can be an option. If you know how to digi-scrap like I do, you can make her a photobook like this that I've printed over at ARTSCOW. Be creative and I know you're mom will appreciate your thought and will cherish anything that you will give her.

Here's a photobook that I made for my mom, though not for Mother's Day but she loved it.

Sharing some of my Digiscrapping Layouts

Like what I told you on my previous post, my blogging mojo went back last weekend bec. I was inspired by a co-digiscrapper. I was also browsing at some digi-scrapping galleries and all to get me going because my scrapping skills are rusting already hehe.

I'm also trying to be more experimental in my style by putting more elements and using almost all the paper like what I did on this layout but in the end my scrapping style which is a bit straight or simple still shows.

Anyway, here are just 2 of the layouts that I made for my Simply Jen Vol. 2 album, of course most of the photos will include me. I wish I can have an age spot removal on my face but hey I want it to stay that way. I'll be sharing more layouts soon.

A Mother's Love Digital Scrapbooking Kit and a Layout

Like what I said on my last post, I digi-scrapped once again! My co-digiscrapper Aggie, inspired me to so much that I even bought this latest A Mother's Love Digital Scrapbooking Kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow & Susan Bartolini at Sweet Shoppe Designs. It was on sale that time so I purchased it immediately. It's regular price is $7.99. You can purchase it now cuz it's perfect for Mother's Day photos and more

I just so loved the kit! I love, love, love all the flowers and almost all the elements and the price I paid is so worth it. Actually I already used this kit to scrap. Here is what I came up eventhough I'm not satisfied with it. My layout is inspired by Aggie's layout.

Hooray, I Digi-Scrapped!!

I'm so proud of myself haha.. I digi-scrapped from scratch once again after finishing my Project 365 photobook sometime in February if my memory serves me right.

Actually it started again when I saw a layout of Aggie on her Flickr account and saw her Sweet Shoppe gallery. I was really inspired so I opened my photoshop and look for some photos to scrap and boom my mojo came in. I will share some of my layouts that I've done later.

At least, scrapping veer me away from some worries in life, I guess I don;t need a prototype 37c just yet eventhough I saw some lines already on my face. Anyway, I'm scrapping once again and I hope I can make lots of layout so I can use my Artscow coupons too.

My 8th ARTSCOW Project 365 (60- page) 8 x 8 Photobook;

Yehey.. finally my 8th ARTSCOW Project 365 (60- page) 8 x 8 Photobook arrived. I had it printed over at ARTSCOW and as usual I'm very pleased with the result. See my other photobooks here.

I'm very proud of this Project 365 photobook of mine, aside from painstakingly taking photos each day, the whole year of 2009, putting them in a layout and writing journal on each date is no joke. I'm glad that I had so much patience in doing this project and when I received the photobook I was just elated bec. my hard work paid off.

Here are some photos of my
Project 365 photobook.

What I like about ARTSCOW, aside from they are printing my photobooks nice and neat, they always offer discount coupons to their customers. I was able to avail discount for the
60-page 8x8 which costs $30.49 bec. i added one page (.50c more). I only paid $20.49 for this photobook and that includes shipping already (see screenshoot). Great deal huh!
